Responsibilities Provide technical support and assistance to students, faculty, and staff via phone, email, and in-person inquiries. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on various devices including desktops, laptops, and printers. Manage and maintain IT asset inventory, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of equipment. Assist with the installation, configuration, and upgrade of computer systems and software applications. Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. Create and maintain user accounts and permissions across various platforms and systems. Document support interactions and solutions in the help desk ticketing system for future reference and training purposes. Requirements Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Technician or in a similar customer support role. Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technologies. Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues quickly and effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical problems in understandable terms. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software. PURPOSE OF POSITION: The University System of Maryland is comprised of twelve (12) higher education institutions and three (3) regional centers. Five (5) of our institutions have formed a consortium (the Maryland Connect Workday Consortium) to leverage the Workday ERP for their Human Resources and Finance functions. The Workday Reporting lead manages the design, configuration, deployment and maintenance of Workday and PRISM reports for the Maryland Connect Workday Consortium. This position serves to manage and improve reporting operations, drive technological advancements, provide leadership and strategic guidance, and foster collaboration to enhance reporting capabilities and support the organization's goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: Service Operations and Customer Support: Ensures understanding of reporting requests by stakeholders. Leads projects related to new dashboards, reports, and analytics. Troubleshoots report-related issues. Supports report-writing needed for integration development and modifications. Develops reporting writing standards. Manages a report repository. Installation Services Technician Location: California The Installation Service Technician is responsible for assisting in installing products at our clients sites. Field Installation Technicans will be working with a DGI employee at a client site and may include traveling with the DGI employee to the client site. The Field Install Service Tech will require travel, frequently overnight (DGI will pay for lodging and per diem). We are looking for Technicians based out of Redding CA or it's surrounding areas. Requirements Essential Position Functions Install and/or removal of equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures and company best practices. Unbox, stage equipment for pre-installation configuration and testing, re-box and prepare for outbound shipment - Document and track installed equipment through IST documentation tools and standards. Qualifications: Experience leading teams Must be at least 18 years old.
