PURPOSE OF POSITION The Workday Financials Manager consults with and advises the Finance departments of the Maryland Connect Consortium universities.  The incumbent is responsible for leveraging the Workday Financials, Procurement, Expenses and Grants products to streamline related processes. The role requires a high level of expertise in Workday Financials and financial reporting. RESPONSIBILITIES Service Operations and Customer Support: Provides guidance and leadership to consortium finance teams to maximize the benefits of Workday in solving problems and enhancing financial operations. Interfaces with Workday to maintain knowledge of product enhancements and shares this information with appropriate central and campus team members. Offers insights and recommendations to streamline reporting processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance the user experience.
