This is an hourly, part-time role during the proposal phase, with potential consideration for full-time salaried employment upon contract award (based on performance and final business needs). Responsibilities Contribute to proposal-phase development efforts, including coding, technical prototypes, and proof-of-concept solutions. Participate in design reviews, technical working sessions, and discussions — on a flexible, part-time basis. Support technical documentation as needed to strengthen proposal technical volumes. Requirements U.S. Citizenship required. Hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer (front-end and back-end). Strong skills with modern frameworks and languages such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, Angular, or similar. Experience with AWS cloud services, DevOps pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a dynamic proposal environment. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience supporting U.S. federal government modernization or large-scale transformation efforts (e.g., immigration or other federal programs). Experience supporting proposal-phase technical efforts or pre-award solution development. Candidates based in Maryland, DC, or Virginia are strongly preferred. Special Note Additional project details, including the agency and program name, will be shared following an initial screening conversation and upon signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Compensation (W-2) We anticipate offering an hourly rate between $90 and $130, depending on relevant experience, technical expertise, and clearance level. This is a part-time, hourly engagement during the proposal phase only. Rates are set to be competitive with market standards for cleared, mid-level to senior-level full-stack engineers in the MD/DC/VA region. Potential for consideration for full-time salaried employment upon contract award, based on performance and business needs.
