Position: Legal Secretary Location: Los Angeles, CA Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-5:00PM Position Summary: The purpose of the Legal Secretary is to assist with managing the front desk, providing administrative support, and delivering excellent customer service in a legal office setting. Duties: - Greet clients and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor - Answer and direct phone calls using proper phone etiquette - Manage attorneys and paralegals calendar and schedule appointments - Assist with document preparation, filing, and organization - Handle high volume incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries - Maintain the reception area clean and organized - Provide general administrative support to legal staff - Utilize computer skills for data entry, word processing, and email communication - Order Office Supplies / Snacks / Drinks Requirements: - Proven experience as a receptionist for an immigration law firm is must - Familiarity with legal terminology is a plus - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in using office equipment and computer systems - Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Experience with Docketwise or Monday.com (Preferred, not required) - accounting data entry Compensation: $25-$32 per hour depending on experience plus PTO, paid holidays, and vacation days. Requirements Essential Duties/Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): Draft, review, negotiate, and prepare commercial contracts including supply agreements, sales agreements, real estate contracts, and vendor agreements (including information technology contracts) and provide advice to business teams concerning the same.
