We’re currently looking for skilled Fluxcore Welders, Fitter/Welders, and Subarc Welders Open Positions: MIG Welders Pay $20 - $24 Shifts Available: • 1st Shift • 2nd Shift Fluxcore Welders in Fort Worth TX Pay: $20–$24/hr Shifts Available: • 1st Shift • 2nd Shift Requirements: • Must have fluxcore welding experience • Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus Fitter/Welders in South Fort Worth Pay: $20–$24/hr Shifts Available: • 2nd Shift • Weekend Shift Requirements: • Must have strong fitting and welding skills • Able to work independently and from prints • Structural steel experience a plus Subarc Welder in North Fort Worth Pay: $23–$24/hr Shift: • 1st Shift Only Requirements: • Experience with Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) • Must understand weld parameters and wire feed speeds • Prior fabrication shop experience preferred The quickest way to get hired is to stop by our office with two physical forms of identification. Position Responsibilities: - Utilize Lucas Mill Dedicated Slabber DSM23 and chainsaw to cut salvaged tree logs into slabs - De-nail salvaged lumber. - Use proper stacking and drying techniques to prevent damage to milled slabs. - Ensure proper documentation and inventory of milled slabs and processed lumber. - Work with salvaged tree logs and prepare them for reuse by learning the proper techniques for milling, stacking, and drying - Develop our Tree Reclamation Program. - Facilitate and coordinate transport of milled slabs and processed lumber to Redistribution Center. - Maintain a clean and organized yard - Maintain tools and equipment, including sharpening saw blades - Manage and direct crew members - Research, set up, and ongoing management of solar kiln. - Delegate tasks to crew members and keep crew motivated and on task - Outreach to arborists, landscapers, and City & County/State departments for tree donations. - Work in collaboration with Redistribution staff. - Ensure all duties of material processing department are being done when not milling or performing outreach. - Participate in the recruitment of crew members and manage training for all new hires.
