Our dump truck driver is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of dump trucks and trailers for various applications including the hauling and dumping of aggregates and spoils for commercial excavation, earth moving, site preparation, road building, and utility projects. Truck drivers are also responsible for loading, securing, and moving heavy equipment between job sites. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities and Duties Safely and efficiently drive and operate well maintained Dump truck and trailer. Deliver products to jobsite. Spread and stockpile per order. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues. Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions. Collect and verify delivery instructions. Report defects, accidents, or violations. Qualifications and Skills Valid CDL Class A license required. 5+ years proven truck driving experience Clean driving record with no moving violations. Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide previous employment records.
