What You’ll Do
Lead all phases of residential carpentry projects—from site prep to final finishes—with precision and high craftsmanship standards
Supervise and mentor carpentry team members, ensuring work aligns with plans, specs, and Neil Kelly quality expectations
Coordinate closely with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to keep projects on schedule and within scope
Manage material deliveries, inspect for accuracy and quality, and maintain organized, safe, and secure job sites
Uphold safety protocols, protect client property, and deliver an exceptional project experience from start to finish
What You Bring
You’re an experienced carpenter and confident leader with excellent technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. You have the right tools to do the job, a valid driver’s license and a pickup truck with canopy, or utility type van.
Required Skills & Experience
Advanced residential carpentry skills across all phases—from framing to finish work, including kitchens, baths, and general remodeling
Proven experience managing job sites, mentoring crew members, and delivering projects on time and within budget
Strong ability to read blueprints, interpret specifications, and apply construction math
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a calm and solutions-oriented approach
Proficiency with construction tools, materials, equipment, and jobsite technology
High standards for cleanliness, safety, and organization on-site
Physically able to perform demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted
Bonus Points For
Familiarity with remodeling codes and building standards
Experience in high-quality custom work
CPR/First Aid/AED certification (we’ll help you get it if needed)

This role serves job sites in the Seattle metro area and is not remote. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Seattle, WA, or be willing to relocate by their start date.
