Breedlove Guitars, manufacturer of fine acoustic instruments, is looking for a highly motivated person to join our Warehouse/Quality Control department. This position will be seasonal help from now until January 2026, with the possibility of staying on longer for exceptional employees. In this position you will be responsible for executing the final quality check of imported instruments to ensure they all meet our quality standards prior to shipping. Quality check includes inspection for blemishes, full adherence to company specifications and overall cleanliness of the instrument. This position must also help with packaging and shipping of finalized instruments. This is a fast-paced, results driven team with ambitious goals and expectations. We are looking for a fast learner who, with the support of the rest of the team, can be successful right from the beginning. To be successful in this position you should have, first of all, a great attitude. You'll also need strong problem solving and communication skills. You should possess a passion for music, a guitar playing background, excellent hand-eye coordination, and be highly detail oriented with an eye for quality. Must be a quick learner, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This role requires communication with department management, sales team staff, production supervisors and craftsmen. This candidate should be motivated by efficient inspection completions, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations. General knowledge of warehouse organization and knowledge of cycle counting is a plus. Duties - Perform Quality Inspection on outgoing Instruments including but not limited to o Inspecting all parts and finish work for inconsistencies or flaws o Inspecting instruments top to bottom for any structural issues o Performing Setup on instruments based on Breedlove specifications o Completing a 25-point inspection process - Assist with Receiving and Shipping of shipments - Manage flow of instruments per instruction from department manager - Manage workbench to keep tools organized and easily accessible Tools Used - Guitar Tuner - Ruler - Allen wrenches - Screwdrivers - Dremel - Disc Sander - Exacto Knife - Wire Clippers Expectations - Maintain the highest level of safety - Maintain the highest level of quality - Perform detailed work while still supporting high volume - Clearly communicate with other team members - Suggest / implement improvements to increase capacity / efficiency Qualifications - Passion for music with guitar playing experience - Experience with the tools listed above - Extremely detail oriented - Experience in a warehouse/quality control setting - Self starter with a strong work ethic - Breedlove offers extremely competitive entry level wages, with upward mobility opportunities.
