Emily's Garage is a full-service auto repair shop certified to perform safety inspections for transportation network company (TNC) vehicles. All for-hire vehicles TNC vehicles and taxicabs must undergo a uniform vehicle safety inspection before they can be used to provide services for public transportation. Job Description Em's is growing quickly and is currently seeking an ASE certified auto technician who is a self-starter, motivated, and energetic; most importantly has a positive attitude. Em's prefers organized people who are willing to learn and do what has to be done to keep the shop smooth sailing! All applicants must be at least 18 years old and be able to operate all types of vehicles, including manual transmissions. Responsibilities of the Automotive Technician: -Ability to inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair various makes and models -Perform all other necessary vehicle diagnostics and execute repairs, as necessary. -Advise service writer of potential problems and additionally needed repairs. -Assist in selling services/packages that increase performance and lifespan of the vehicle and also increase shop revenue. -Able to use hand and air tools -Inspect vehicles to ensure compliance with TNC standards and governmental safety regulations. -Checks all fluids and maintenance-related parts and tops-off or replaces fluids or filters/parts as required -Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs -Performs other duties as assigned -Ensure that the shop is clean and presentable. -Supervise the inspection of automotive vehicles to ensure compliance with TNC standards and governmental regulations. -Ability to work in a team environment QUALIFICATIONS 4+ years of automotive experience Honest and hardworking Valid drivers license Required ASE Certifications: A1 Engine Repair A4 Suspension and Steering A5 Brakes A7 Heating and Air Conditioning (Or the ability to recertify if not current) Job Perks: Standard workweek (Mon- Fri 9am - 5pm), Competitive pay, Paid Holidays Job Type: Full-time

About Kenney Construction, Inc. Kenney Construction specializes in foundations, structural steel, and deep foundation systems including caissons, tiebacks, and micropiles. We are hiring a hands on Construction Project Manager to lead a project in Guadalupe while supporting operations from our Santa Barbara office. Position Summary The Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and oversee civil and concrete construction activities for a project in Guadalupe, CA, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, on budget, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate has project management experience in civil construction and/or concrete work, strong communication skills, and excellent attention to detail. The role will require regular travel to the Guadalupe site and occasional regional travel.
