Job Summary: Skillfully operate and maintain excavator and backhoe on earthwork and underground utility projects. Duties: Ability to safely and proficiently operate excavators and backhoes on various terrains • Familiarity with earthmoving, underground utility trenching and underground best practices and principles. Knowledge of waterworks, water main line installation and repairs, sewer mainline installation and repairs, septic tank installs and repairs. • Operate other types of standard heavy civil construction equipment • Various general labor tasks • Thorough equipment inspections and maintenance • Basic fueling and lubricating of equipment. Work Effectively with supervisors, foreman and peers to operate heavy equipment • 3 years of Construction labor and Equipment operating such as: • Excavators • Loaders • Caterpillar D1 Dozer • Backhoe • Skip Loader • Assist in initial setup and cleanup of worksite • Attend and participate in weekly & Monthly Safety Meetings • Conditions of Employment: Successful candidate must submit to post offer pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing. Construction, installation, and removal of multiple styles of stages, floors, and tent structures Ensure full client satisfaction in relation to the quality of service and finished product within planned time schedules Ensure appropriate safety measures are followed; including wearing and use of safety equipment Carrying, loading, and unloading of materials from truck to installation location on site Respectful interactions with multi-lingual team, leaders, and clients Uphold company safety standards and ensure appropriate safety measures are followed Clean and prepare construction sites, including removing debris and materials Other duties as required Requirements Travel: Frequent travel in the US Compensation: Hourly (rate commensurate on experience) Overtime available Hotels and per diem are paid by InProduction Required education: High school or equivalent Certificates from trades school and apprenticeships preferred Requirements: 2 years of tent and mezzanine structure installation experience preferred Experience with Hoecker, Roder, Losberger or Velderman products preferred Valid United States driver’s license preferred Technical skills related to the industry are learned while on the job, but basic construction skills, carpentry, scaffolding, rigging, and flatbed loading are essential in this position Forklift, boom lift, and scissor lift licenses a plus, but not required. Training will be provided OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 is a plus, but not required. You will be on your feet all day in a fast pace, outdoor setting cleaning the interior and exterior of the vehicles. You will also perform regular maintenance: non-mechanical services such as check tire pressure and fluid levels, in an orderly and safe manner. You will also identify and document vehicle conditions.
