Content Refinement: Identify issues such as ambiguity, factual errors, formatting inconsistencies, or bias in AI outputs, and suggest improvements. Auditing Work: Review tasks completed by other contributors, ensuring they follow project guidelines. Provide constructive feedback and edit content as needed to improve quality. Chat Moderation: Provide support by addressing project-related questions from other experts in Discord chats, especially those related to project guidelines. Guideline Application: Apply quality rubrics consistently to ensure outputs align with established standards. Brand Ambassadors needed for Cannabis Brand (New York City/Brooklyn) Compensation: $28 - $30 Per hour DOE Description: The Free Agency is looking for qualified and experienced Brand Ambassadors to help support a “pop-up” informational program at dispensaries and events throughout the state of New York. Ambassadors should be highly motivated, outgoing, friendly, and have an interest in the cannabis industry. The “pop-ups” will be held inside a dispensary, so outgoing personalities and those who can comfortably talk to others are strongly encouraged to apply! We want consumers to feel comfortable talking to our Brand Ambassadors about these products and benefits. Paid training included. Monday - Sunday event activations in dispensaries. Schedule must be open for up to 20 hours per week. Paid travel across New York when applicable. Must be able to commit to BA team meetings and training when scheduled. Work Schedule: Monday - Sunday: 3.5 hour shifts plus travel (if applicable). Responsibilities: Be the face of the brand at dispensaries and events, exuding confidence, personality, and friendliness towards consumers. Become an expert on the brand and product, be able to answer many different questions consumers may have. Represent the brand in a professional manner at all times, adhere to uniform guidelines, and refrain from cell phone usage during activations. Work with the program manager and other team members in a respectful manner, contributing to the overall success of the team and program. Willing and able to transport themselves to/from locations, transport and setup/teardown an asset kit, interact with dispensary contacts, and create detailed recap reports. Attend brand training to learn about brand and product, stay up to date on product and industry trends/news. Qualifications and skills: At least (2) years work experience in a similar Brand Ambassador role, sales role, or similar position. Current driver's license. Must be 21+. Pass a background check including no prior history of felony convictions. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with New York City and other surrounding major cities. Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and shifts that vary from morning to night. Interest in marketing, advertising, culture, or product influencing. We are looking to fill 2 positions, one for our Long Island location and one for our NYC locations. Position: Rep Payee Specialist Location: Long Island & NYC Based Schedule: Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm Salary: $60,000 - $65,000/yr. Duties and Responsibilities: Financial Management: • Conduct intake assessments to evaluate participants’ financial situations and to assist them in developing personalized budget plans. • Provides Representative Payee services for participants who would benefit from services that will help to ensure that their financial needs are met and their funds are used appropriately. • Receives and manages participants' Social Security (or other government benefit payments), budgeting funds for essential needs such as housing, food, healthcare, and utilities. • Maintains accurate and detailed financial records for each participant, including income, expenses, and transactions. • Review and analyze financial documentation looking to ensure the representative payee accounts for all SSA (Social Security Administration) funds received and spent appropriately. • Ensures that the representative payee conserves any unspent funds in an appropriate manner. Compliance and Reporting: • Maintain accurate and confidential records, services provided and participants’ progress. • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to representative payee services. • Maintain the security and safety of personal identifying information (PII) of all individuals involved in representative payee reviews. • Maintain communication with program staff to exchange information, provide technical assistance/consultation, and resolve problems. Education and Training: • Advocate for participant’s best interest, ensuring they receive the necessary services and support to improve their overall well-being. • Educate participants about their rights, available resources, and options for improving their circumstances. • Educate participants about monetary management, budgeting, and available community resources to promote financial literacy and independence. • Provide training and support to staff as well as tenants on financial literacy (including ensuring tenants are not over income, managing bank accounts/special needs trusts, etc.) • Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings. Requirements: Previous experience in advocacy, social services, or a related field within a nonprofit organization. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and cultural competency to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to advocate persuasively and diplomatically. Knowledge of community resources, social services, and government assistance programs. Strong understanding of government benefits programs and regulations related to representative payee services. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate financial records. Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with vulnerable populations. Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality.
