Miller Transportation Group is immediately hiring a Diesel Mechanic Technician for our Miller Truck Leasing division in Lancaster, PA.  With over 100 years of experience and upwards of 8,000 trucks on the road, Miller currently operates 40 Diesel Maintenance shops throughout KY, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, and NH. Requirements You Will: Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes (Company supplied OEM software) following proper warranty procedures Repair / Replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments Replace clutches & transmissions You Have: Prior experience as a fleet mechanic, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors A valid CDL, or the ability to acquire a CDL with the assistance of our trainer Hand tools Experience working on Refrigeration Units is desired, but not required Ability to work Sunday 8am-4:30pm and Monday through Thursday 12pm-8:30pm Benefits Competitive compensation: $25-$36 Per Hour + $1 Per Hour Shift Differential + $25 for each Sunday worked Paid Vacation and Holidays Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance with HRA, HSA, and FSA options 401(k) with a company provided match Employee Discounts and an Employee Assistance Program Career Advancement Opportunities for Technicians at all levels Robust in-person and online training programs, including NJ Emissions Training #Miller1

What the Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician role looks like: Perform onsite scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow up repairs to Class 6-8 trucks in a mobile/field environment.  Perform Emergency Road Service Calls.  Respond to call center dispatched scheduled and unscheduled service and maintenance requests.  Diagnose and repair various types of truck equipment including, but not limited to the following: Electrical/Brake/Cooling Systems, Starters/Alternators, Air conditioning systems, Fan clutches, Engine electronics, Power steering systems, Engines (gas and diesel), Transmissions (manual and automatic), Clutches, Differentials, etc.  Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers and pressure gauges.  Use basic hand tools, precision instruments, as well as power tools, welding equipment, and jacks.  Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are working properly.  Maintain a high level of productivity and be able to work within or close to most standard repair times.  Obtain parts from approved local and national vendors as necessary for the repairs to be performed.  Maintain company issued service truck, conduct safety checks and pre/post trip inspections.  Perform other duties as assigned. What our ideal candidate looks like: Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Diesel Technician on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.  Proficiency in DOT inspections and air brake repairs.  Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and their drivers.  Proficiency in the use of mobile devices, navigation of mobile applications and use of email to document repairs and communication.  Willingness to work varied schedules and work outdoors/in the elements at customer yards/locations.  Demonstrated ability to work independently, multi-task and apply initiative.  Positive attitude, safety conscious, and self-motivated.  In order to be covered on the company automotive insurance policy, all drivers must be 23 years of age or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record within the last 3 years.  Must provide own hand tools that are adequate to perform job functions.    Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are currently seeking a verifiable , experienced "all star" residential superintendent that has had success in building large/challenging homes in SF and Marin County in the recent past. SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Site Superintendent will oversee the construction project on a daily basis. They will assist with the supervision of all onsite work. This often includes, but not limited to demolition, intricate foundation replacements, excavations, layout of in-house trim carpentry team, supervise and coordinate with all trade labor and subcontractors, and interface with our company president, project manager, architect, engineers, local officials, and others. Our work extends from foundations thru to final trim and paint. Additional responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to: • Review architectural and structural designs to determine scope of work (organized by Autodesk Build software on iPads) • Oversee projects to maintain compliance with construction safety codes and other regulatory requirements. • Prepare daily logs for construction activities and daily project reports. • Coordinate with project team and building trades for the preparation and processing of project documentation, including, but not limited to submittals, RFI's and Change Order requests. * layout carpentry tasks for employees of our firm EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED: • Seven to ten years minimum experience in general construction, with emphasis on high end RESIDENTIAL projects preferred in SF or Marin County.
