Who You Are: You are a self-motivated and dedicated individual that is interested in entering our company as a Production Finance Intern to support within our department and cross departmentally on the development and execution of immersive environments and experiences. This role is perfect for entry level applicants passionate about experiential design, storytelling, and hands-on production within the world of themed experiences and entertainment. You are interested in learning multiple facets of the business and industry, working cross functionally and supporting several leaders and teams while getting a full breadth of experience from the early beginnings of conceptual to design to the fine details of implementing the final product. Responsibilities: Champion the adoption of AI-enabled personal productivity tools for project tracking software, documentation organization and prioritize good communication skills Lead the development of AI-driven financial analysis tools to translate strategic and tactical guidance into tangible outputs for design and production. Conduct materials research, sourcing, and fabrication reference gathering Support in drafting production documents, schedules, and asset lists Participate in internal brainstorms and project reviews Assist in coordination with vendors, fabricators, and technical teams Assist in quality control with vendors and fabricators Help to create and organize sample libraries, reference decks, and project documentation Contribute to on-site installations or prep, when applicable Take notes, formulate recaps and next steps following various weekly meetings Ability to take initiative, constructive feedback and iterate designs accordingly. The salary range for this role is $25/hr. - $30/hr. USD dependent on location and experience. The anticipated internship contract length is six months at 40 hours/week, with the possibility for extension at the conclusion of this period. Requirements Necessities: This is a Los Angeles–based hybrid role, with the expectation of working several days per week in the office and at Museum of Ice Cream sites as necessary. Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on quantitative coursework, preferably in Business, Economics, or Mathematics Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) experience Strong visual communication skills (both digital and hand-drawn) Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks Passion for storytelling, immersive environments, and interactive experiences Willingness to learn Nice-to-Haves: Prior hands-on experience in design, fabrication, scenic art, or events management. Prior coordination experience Familiarity with design software (Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) Figure8 is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity at our company.
