Job Overview: We’re looking for a dedicated Dishwasher/Porter to join our team and play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and facility. In this position, you’ll be responsible for washing and storing dishes, ensuring kitchen cleanliness, and assisting with general facility upkeep to support the smooth operation of food service. What You’ll Do: Wash & Sanitize Dishes: Clean dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment to ensure sanitation and hygiene. Properly Store Dishes: Organize and store clean items in designated areas, keeping the kitchen neat and efficient. Maintain Kitchen Cleanliness: Regularly clean kitchen surfaces, counters, sinks, stoves, and food prep areas to ensure a safe working environment. Clean Kitchen Floors: Sweep and mop floors as needed to maintain a safe and sanitary environment. Dispose of Waste & Recycling: Empty trash and recyclables according to company procedures, ensuring a clean and sustainable environment. Monitor Supplies & Equipment: Ensure dishwashing detergent, cleaning supplies, and equipment are stocked and functioning properly. Report any issues to management. Clean & Organize Shared Spaces: Keep storage rooms, hallways, and common areas clean and well-organized. Report Maintenance Issues: Inform management of any plumbing, equipment, or facility concerns. Requirements What We Need From You: Prior experience in dishwashing, janitorial, or facility maintenance roles is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail in all cleaning and maintenance tasks. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organization. Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures. Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift objects, and perform repetitive tasks. Availability for early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on shift schedules. A strong commitment to maintaining health and safety standards.
