The Rallye Motor Company, Long Island's premier luxury automotive group, is seeking a Parts Shipping & Receiving/Warranty Clerk with Rallye BMW! The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term position where they can utilize their automotive parts skills and knowledge to engage with a luxury client base, and be a part of an outstanding team! Responsibilities for this position include: Track incoming and outgoing shipments, and verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records. Determine shipment methods. Prepare shipments, including: affix shipping labels, assemble packaging containers, pack parts into containers using spacers, fillers & protective padding, affix shipping instructions, charges, and postage. Receive incoming shipments, including: unpack & examine shipment contents, reject damaged items, record shortages, place parts into stock or customer bins quickly and accurately. Receive unsold parts returned by parts driver. Keep Parts Manager informed of all problems and stock requirements. Stock parts as needed, and pull parts orders as needed. Notify other departments in the dealership when their parts arrive. Attend or complete any required training. Willing to accept additional or different tasks when circumstances change (e.g., emergencies, changes in personnel, work load, new technologies). You will use specialized equipment to create an accurate record of proceedings in numerous places including legal courts, non-profit board rooms, and depositions.
