Location: Multiple U.S. Cities (Onsite Support) About the Role: We are seeking reliable and tech-savvy on-call field technicians to provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, and general PC/Mac troubleshooting. You’ll be working with residential and small business clients, resolving a wide range of computer-related issues—from software errors to hardware diagnostics and repairs. This is a 1099 independent contractor role. You must have your own tools, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on Windows and Mac devices. Resolve boot errors (e.g., black/blue screens, "Preparing Automatic Repair," OS issues). Perform full clean-ups and tune-ups for slow or unresponsive systems. Reset Windows passwords and assist clients with account access issues. Assist with internet connectivity issues (wired and wireless). Replace internal components like fans, hard drives, or RAM. Reinstall or repair operating systems using USB or disk media. Add shortcuts or tools (e.g., remote support access) as instructed. Provide basic training or walkthroughs to clients post-service. Document your service visit and escalate complex issues when needed. Requirements 2+ years of experience in PC/Mac repair and IT support. Familiarity with Windows 10 & 11, macOS, and basic BIOS/boot troubleshooting. Ability to work with limited instructions and troubleshoot independently. Must own necessary tools (bootable USB, Windows installation media, screwdriver, etc.). Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license. Strong communication and customer service skills. Comfort working with clients in residential or office settings. The Johns Hopkins CIR is looking for healthy volunteers to participate in an outpatient and inpatient Shigella and ETEC Vaccine study. The purpose of this study is to test an investigational oral vaccine call ShigETEC to prevent diarrheal illness cause by Shigella and ETEC bacteria that cause traveler's diarrhea. If you are between the ages of 18-50 you may be eligible to participate. Generate leads into the multifamily program based on program guidelines Educate stakeholders on energy efficiency programs, incentives, and benefits. Organize and participate in meetings, presentations, and events to promote program participation. Assist property owners and managers in understanding program eligibility and requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline outreach strategies and improve program effectiveness. Track outreach activities, maintain records, and prepare reports on program engagement. Provide support to applicants during the application and approval process for incentives. Interprets program guidelines and incentive participation pathways and provides ongoing support to contractors and contractors, including guidance on local building regulations, as well as opportunities for maintenance staff to pursue building operator certification trainings.   Other duties as assigned. Requirements A minimum of 4 years’ experience in outreach, sales, and/or community engagement. Previous experience with multifamily programs/operations and energy-efficiency outreach is preferred. Proven success in engaging multifamily property owners, property management, service providers and contractors. Demonstrated experience in networking, presentation skills and relationship building. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines. Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools.  Must be a New Jersey resident Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment. Preferred skills, education and experience High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Technical acumen regarding multifamily building science principles and technologies.  Client centered and customer service focused. Ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences, including both speaking and writing.  Knowledge of energy efficiency principles and programs is beneficial. Experience in outreach, sales, or customer service roles preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with the ability to multi-task and self-direct your work.  Proficiency in using basic computer applications and CRM software.
