Job Summary This position maintains a clean and comfortable environment for staff, residents, and visitors of the Acacia Creek. Essential Functions Receive and follow housekeeping schedules and instructions from supervisor and as outlined in established procedures. Clean/polish furnishings and fixtures in resident’s apartments, offices, living and recreational areas as instructed. Clean and sanitize kitchen and bathroom fixtures. Clean windows and ledges as required. Clean floors to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, disinfecting, as instructed. Assist in floor care techniques such as stripping, waxing, polishing and carpet extraction. Ensure that Caution/Safety signs are properly set up prior to performing duties and safely returns area to its normal condition when finished. Clean walls, ceilings, hallways, stairways, and sidewalks as instructed using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions. Dispose of all trash into proper containers and relines trash receptacle with plastic liners. Report all defective equipment and malfunctions to supervisor as soon as possible. Receive, sort, and wash linen/laundry following schedule and instructions from supervisor and as outlined in established procedures. Remove wet wash to dryers, sets proper temperature control, folds clean linen and stacks on movable carts. Sort and tag clothes as appropriate. Bag items and deliver to appropriate locations. Clean lint traps daily. Assure that all established safety rules/procedures are followed at all times. Move furniture and equipment as required. Other duties as assigned. Team members will obtain and demonstrate knowledge of Successful Aging philosophies through Masterpiece Living education, including the core values of Integrity, Dedication, Respect, Compassion, Teamwork and Quality. Associates will support and participate in the Successful Aging Culture (i.e., assist in new initiatives, encourage residents and act as their “coach”). Be familiar with and fluent in the language and details of Successful Aging/Masterpiece Living. Requirements Minimum requirements: Prior housekeeping experience in a retirement facility or hospital preferred Knowledge of proper use of commercial cleaning equipment and materials. OBRA & Title 22 requirements Ensures that residents' rights to fair and equitable treatment, self determination, individuality, privacy, property and civil rights, including the right to wage a complaint, are well established and maintained at all times. Maintains confidentiality of appropriate resident care information to assure their rights are protected. Reports all incidents/accidents, unsafe and hazardous conditions/equipment immediately. Follows established safety rules and regulations. Maintains work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner at all times. Looking For an amazing Bartender/Server! The position includes: Working in a local bar making mixed drinks and cocktails (you need to be able to make some of the classics). Maintain and keep a clean bar. candidates must possess bartending experience behind a bar focusing on hand crafted cocktails. The candidate must be skillful at customer service and customer interaction throughout the dining experience. He/She is a perfectionist and craftsman. We expect the right candidate also to possess the same passion and knowledge in food as our qualified server candidates. Must be knowledgeable in Health Department requirements for liquor related establishments. WEEKEND AVAILABILITY A MUST!! Bartender will be required to also serve customers in the dining area during all shifts. The candidate should be professional, reliable, energetic, knowledgeable and thorough team player. Warfel Construction Company is currently seeking a Preconstruction Manager to support our Warfel team at Winchester, VA. As a Preconstruction Manager, duties will include working closely with clients, design consultants, and other project stakeholders to ensure that program, design and preconstruction milestones are completed as part of the selected project delivery method.   Requirements Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:   Collaborate with various departments including Business Development, Estimating, and Operations on project approach and required deliverables during the preconstruction phase   Develop and maintain client and consultant relationships  Coordinate client requests with project team  Assemble preconstruction deliverables   Participate in Value Management process   Develop preconstruction schedules, master project schedules, project phasing, and site logistic plans  Participate in and lead the estimating process through Preconstruction and Hard Bid projects  Coordinate and obtain necessary project permits  Coordinate and lead the constructability review process   Review contracts with clients and participate in contract negotiations  Participate in transition of project to construction phase  Collaborate with Project Manager on procurement strategies and planning  Participate in proposal preparation and presentations   Provide competitive and accurate estimates  Prepare schematic estimates  Provide guidance and leadership to assigned project team  Gather/track historical cost data  Develop and maintain trade partner relationships  Other duties, as assigned   QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management with a strong emphasis on management  Minimum of 5 years of preconstruction management experience with a CM or GM.
