The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and inspections on medium-duty vehicles and equipment in Raleigh, NC. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the vehicles are safe and operating efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance on medium-duty equipment. Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues and performing necessary repairs. Repairing and replacing worn or damaged parts to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed. Collaborating with other mechanics and service staff to ensure high-quality service. Keeping work areas clean and organized in accordance with safety regulations. Staying updated on industry trends and technologies related to medium-duty vehicle maintenance. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of a vocational program in automotive or diesel mechanics is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a medium mechanic or similar role. Strong knowledge of medium-duty vehicle systems and components, including hydraulics. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
