Description

Utilities One is looking for experienced Auto Mechanics to inspect, service, and repair heavy equipment, including drilling machines, bucket trucks, and other large machinery, across Oregon and Washington markets. Responsibilities: Perform on-site vehicle repairs, maintenance, and inspections to ensure operational efficiency of heavy-duty drilling and utility equipment; Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues for various vehicles in our fleet; Conduct routine servicing, including oil changes, brake adjustments, tire rotations, and fluid level checks; Inspect and repair engine systems, transmissions, exhausts, and other essential vehicle components; Utilize diagnostic tools and software to accurately assess and resolve mechanical problems; Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used for each vehicle; Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies during all repair and maintenance tasks; Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete repairs in a timely manner. Requirements 2-3 years of hands-on mechanical experience with large machinery or commercial vehicles; Valid Driver’s License; Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the region; Ability to work outdoors in various conditions; Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
