Description

The Early Years Administrative Assistant will assist the Early Years Pastor to create a safe, empowering and presence-filled space for our large team, as well as fulfilling administrative needs for weekly Early Years operations. This includes communicating with Early Years staff/volunteers, coordinating Early Years staff meetings, staff scheduling and facilitating operations for Early Years services. Position Type: Full-Time Hours: 30 to 40 Hours Per Week Salary: $17.00 Per Hour Requirements 30hrs per week, Sunday-Thursday Creates and revises Early Years staff and schedules for weekly services and events Assists orderly operations of Early Years services and events. This includes helping to oversee the College View Sunday morning services Processes department credit card purchases and receipts Performs Early Years timesheet adjustments and time off requests Assists with onboarding/separation of staff Maintains continual communication with Early Years staff regarding shifts, time off requests, events and answering questions General Early Years email account management and responses Assists with Early Years new hire orientations where needed and collaborates with Early Years Pastor on staff placements Manages Early Years database and Early Years Pastor’s email contacts Assists with Team Pastor and Early Years Meetings. This includes preparation, taking notes, communicating possible business agendas, and taking staff attendance Directs and assists any tasks being carried out in the general Early Years office space. Grounds clean up, such as trash removal, snow removal and dispersing salt on sidewalks. Familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the facility maintenance field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate and supervise vendors (plumbers, electricians, etc.) Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills and management of multiple tasks at once. Environmental Factors and Working Conditions The work environment for this position is a mix of a typical office environment, and visits to properties. Visits to properties may involve travel. The physical demands may require frequent lifting of 50 lbs, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
