About the Role Bring the magic of the holiday season to life! As one of our Host/Hostess at Santa’s Hideaway Adventure, you’ll be the cheerful first point of contact for guests arriving. The role requires you to create a warm, festive atmosphere while ensuring that families enjoy a positive and memorable experience ***Please Note- This is a Seasonal role with a tentative start date of October 15th*** Position Responsibilities  Greet guests with a positive, energetic and professional manner. Book reservations utilizing the company reservation system Answer phones according to established standards Manage guest flow to minimize wait times and maximize revenue by awareness of business needs/volumes   Drive positive customer experiences and assist with any guest issues Maintain established company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times Complete opening/closing duties as assigned and also completed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner Use of radios with headsets and earpieces for communication may be utilized in designated outlets Awareness of all activities happening at Ocean Knowledge of safety/guest liability procedures for guests and employees All other tasks as assigned   Essential Functions   Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment Must be able to work irregular shift assignments, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.. Ability to multi-task including but not limited to answering the phone, greeting guests, rearranging reservations, answering questions, monitoring the line queue, encourage upsell opportunities, checking out guests etc. Must be able to stand, sit, bend and twist for an entire shift and be able to move    throughout the casino/hotel areas. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Must be able to read, write and understand English. Requirements A passion for the holiday season and creating memorable experiences Availability for evenings, weekends and peak holiday hours Dependable, enthusiastic, outgoing, and professional attitude Comfortable greeting and working with families and children   Must have a minimum of six months’ experience as a host/hostess in a high volume and/or kid-friendly environment.
