Responsibilities & Duties Inspect roofing and related building envelope systems during all phases of construction, repair, and maintenance at NASA facilities. Review construction documents, shop drawings, and material submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and NASA requirements. Monitor contractor work for compliance with codes, safety regulations, and project schedules. Conduct field inspections and document findings with detailed reports, including photographs and recommendations. Verify installation methods, material quality, and workmanship meet contractual and industry standards (NRCA, ASTM, OSHA, and NASA technical requirements). Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and safety personnel to resolve technical issues. Provide input on corrective actions for deficiencies or non-compliant work. Maintain accurate daily inspection logs and submit progress updates. Support quality assurance/quality control efforts and assist in project closeout inspections.
