Description

We are a property management company with properties in the Vancouver/Camas area. We are looking for an entry level cleaning person. You will be responsible for cleaning apartments that tenants have moved out of and preparing them for the new tenants. Also, duties will include light trash pick up around our apartment complexes and cleaning the laundry rooms of our complexes. The typical work schedule is M-F 8am-4:30pm with a 30 minute lunch break. Depending on the demand for our rental units there may be an occasional need to clean a unit on a weekend. This is situational. We need someone who is reliable and flexible. Your mission, should you choose to accept it:  Manage stock availability and levels at all times to meet current and anticipated business demand, ensuring sufficient inventory in the right place at the right time, forecasting workforce and product placement needs, adjusting warehouse floor and racking space for workflow optimization, and minimizing costs and other types of losses.  Lead, train, motivate, and support inventory team members on task execution, including but not limited to receiving, bin running, bin filling, QC audits, and cycle counting, delegating as necessary to achieve effective oversight across all areas. Determine work priorities, prepare work schedules and expedite workflow. Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures. Responsible for weekly, monthly and yearly labor planning, staffing and schedule building.  Utilize inventory management technology, scorecards, KPIs, and reporting to meet the labor needs (short and long-term), efficiently utilize warehouse space, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. Ensure proper staffing levels to maintain essential work completion, ownership, and execution. Take action to ensure appropriate adjustments to meet department goals and targets.  Forecast and continuously monitor workload gap calculations throughout day to determine and communicate surplus/deficit in hours needed with all departments.  Develop and implement innovative procedures for efficient, accurate, and timely inventory control, identify bottlenecks, and suggest solutions for optimization. This role serves as a hands-on leader, providing direct support to the cleaning staff and ensuring that day-to-day operations meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service. The EVS On-Site Supervisor is a key frontline leader, promoting a culture of safety and operational excellence while maintaining the high standards of cleanliness required for patient and staff satisfaction.
