This role is responsible for ensuring all products meet regulatory requirements and company standards, while also leading audits, training, and compliance activities. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and maintain food safety management systems in compliance with regulations. • Conduct audits of production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards. • Oversee data collection and analysis related to food safety and quality metrics. • Coordinate training programs for staff on food safety and quality assurance protocols. • Ensure compliance with CGMP, SQF Level 2, USDA Organic, FDA, FSMA, OSHA, HACCP, and Health Department requirements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues and implement corrective actions. • Prepare reports on food safety performance for management review. • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes. Requirements: • Experience in Food Science, Food Safety, Operations, Food Management, Microbiology, or related field. • Prior experience in food safety management or quality assurance (organic product experience preferred). • Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Excellent analytical and communication skills. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality standards. • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (a plus). • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. • Ability to commute to Sparks, NV 89431 (required).
