Acara and our client in Plattsburgh, NY, have 12 contract positions available Production Operator's 1st shift 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. plus required OT on weekends $21.50 The Client will provide ferry cost Location: 71 Wall St., Plattsburgh, NY Are you a Production Operator looking to join one of the top companies in the Transportation Manufacturing industry? Are you looking to further your career and grow? Do you have experience in an Industrial or Manufacturing unit, on electronics, electrical, or mechanical devices? Here's what you'd do: Handle and store goods and raw materials in the factory or the warehouse. Set up production equipment, robot, machine, workstation, test bench, inspection tool, warehouse equipment. Clean and maintain working areas and production equipment. Perform manufacturing/production/test tasks as planned by the MRP. Respect task time and quality level assigned by operating instructions, methods, process, and MRP routing. Identify parts as necessary by the operating instructions. Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks. Alert Team Leader on process drift or quality problem. Complete the tally sheet on the MRP tool if the team leader requests it. Pack goods ready for shipment in crates or other containers. Respect ESD rules for electronics device production. Complies with EHS rules. Required Skills / Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Industrial or Manufacturing unit, on electronics, electrical, or mechanical devices. Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical and mechanical fitting. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Manufacturing effectiveness. Quality focus. Collaboration / Communication with Transparency / Teamwork. Local language.
