Job Summary: All meat cutters work under close supervision to cut, trim, and prepare consumer-sized poultry portions for use or sale to hotels, country clubs, resorts, restaurants, and distributors. Employees under this job classification must adhere to and strictly follow all USDA regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures. Essential Job Duties: • Cut, trim, and prepare consumer-sized poultry portions • Cryovac, weigh, and label all processed poultry • Cut and trim according to specifications to ensure quality • Follow USDA regulations and company policies and procedures • Maintain clean workstation and follow supervisor's work instructions daily Work Environment and Exposures: The position will require daily and frequent exposure to a temperature-controlled cold room where safe storage of poultry is possible. Occasional exposure to an outdoor work environment may occur. Noise levels fluctuate but are consistent with the standard indoor food manufacturing production environment. Practical knowledge in the food manufacturing industry is a plus!!
