FLOHOM is an experiential hospitality company that designs and manufactures luxury houseboats and floating structures, creating a growing network of unparalleled floating lodging experiences. We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and self-motivated Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring our FLOHOMs are always guest-ready, safe, and maintained to the highest standard. Responsibilities - Perform general maintenance and repairs across all FLOHOM properties, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances. - Complete “Ready-to-Rent” tasks such as unboxing, assembly, furniture mounting, décor installation, and final touch-ups. - Assist with light construction and improvement projects, including installations, renovations, and upgrades (on land and on the water). - Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all systems and amenities function properly. - Respond to guest service calls and resolve maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain a seamless guest experience. - Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe, clean, and organized condition. - Travel occasionally to assist with projects at other FLOHOM locations. Qualifications - Proven experience in maintenance, handyman work, or construction. - Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic trade skills (electrical, plumbing, carpentry). - Must have a reliable set of personal tools and dependable transportation. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. - Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality workmanship. - Comfortable working in and around water in a marina environment. - Able to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, climbing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Schedule & Availability - Standard weekday schedule. - On-call availability during evenings and weekends for guest emergencies.
