Lead Evening Cleaner (Bellingham)

Job description: Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Cleaner to join our team. The Lead Cleaner‘s primary role will be to complete hands-on cleaning tasks and janitorial duties daily as part of the team, and additionally will supervise cleaning staff, manage cleaning operations, and uphold quality standards across various environments at specific commercial locations. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Duties: Oversee daily cleaning operations to ensure that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. Perform hands-on cleaning tasks and janitorial duties daily as part of the team. Supervise and train cleaning staff, providing guidance on best practices in cleaning techniques and safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, including laundering services, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for staff. Address any issues or complaints related to cleanliness promptly and effectively. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance. Experience: A minimum of one year proven experience in a cleaning or custodial role, with a strong background in commercial cleaning or hospitality settings preferred. Previous supervisory or management experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with commercial cleaning management practices and standards. Ability to lead a team kindly and effectively while promoting a culture of camaraderie and excellence. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent communication skills, capable of providing clear instructions and feedback to team members and consistent communication with company leadership Additional Requirements: ***Reliable vehicle to drive to various job locations*** Current Drivers License Background check Other Information: All cleaning equipment and supplies are provided ***All work starts after 8p and ends around 1:30-2:30am (start time depends on the night)*** We are seeking someone who can work 4-5 nights a week (with a combination of weekends/weekdays).
