Litter Removal Crew Member Reports To: Field Maintenance Supervisor Location: Los Angeles, CA FLSA Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt Schedule: Daytime shifts, early start, ending around 2:30 PM. Adopt A Highway Maintenance Corporation® (AHMC) has been a trusted partner of public transit officials and local businesses for over 30 years, maintaining clean and safe roadways across the U.S. What You’ll Do: Litter Removal: Safely remove litter and debris from designated highway right-of-way (ROW) areas in the Central District. Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines, wear provided safety equipment and adhere to traffic protocols. Teamwork: Collaborate with your team to complete daily assignments efficiently. Physical Work: Walk 3 to 5 miles daily, lift and carry up to 20 lbs., and work in varying weather conditions (we do not work in extreme weather). Travel Between Sites: Meet at a central location daily for transportation to job sites. What We Provide: Competitive pay of $17.87/hour. Water, team lunches and great culture focused on teamwork and safety. All necessary safety gear provided and replaced as needed. Comprehensive safety training. Referral bonus program* for bringing new hires into the team. Requirements: Must be 18 years or older. Reliable transportation to meet at the central pick-up site.
