Your Best Management Group is a successful property management group working for Bigelow Holding Companies, which includes Budget Suites of America. Description: YBMG is seeking a welder with a minimum of 10 years of proven experience. Compensation can be up to $65,000 per year for qualified individuals. Responsibilities and Requirements: • The candidate must know how to cut, prepare, and polish metal to achieve desired surfaces or textures • The candidate must know how to weld all types of surfaces and thicknesses • A 3-G certification is a plus. • Experience in MIG and TIG welding is required • Experience with plasma and torch cutting is required • Ability to locate parts and provide estimates to management • 10 years of experience are required. Please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement • The person must be reliable, able to work overtime and weekends when necessary • The candidate must have their own tools and truck or van. This position may require travel to different locations within the metroplex • The candidate must be knowledgeable in reading diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications • The candidate must have experience with power and hand tools • The candidate must have extensive knowledge of workplace safety practices and be able to complete company-conducted safety training classes • The candidate must be courteous and respectful toward coworkers and residents • The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills • The candidate must demonstrate integrity and professionalism at all times • The candidate will not be limited solely to welding tasks • The candidate must pass a drug test and criminal background check • The candidate must have a high school diploma or GED • The candidate must be able to climb ladders exceeding 15 feet • The candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds To comply with U.S. government space technology export regulations, applicants must be a U.S. resident, U.S. citizen, or protected individual as defined under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorization from the Department of State.
