Join the Team! This is not an entry level position. Only apply if you have proven, verifiable experience in rodent exclusion work. We’re seeking an experienced Pest Control Technician with strong skills in rodent exclusion and prevention. This role involves driving a company vehicle safely to customer sites, performing inspections, trap placement, pesticide applications, and exclusion work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and other environments. Candidates must be skilled in pest identification, safe debris handling, and using hand tools to seal entry points. Responsibilities include completing reports, maintaining customer relationships, recommending preventive measures, and promoting additional services. Must be able to bid and lead exclusion projects, train other technicians, and ensure safety standards are always met. Minimum Qualifications • Excellent communication and customer service skills • 3+ years proven pest control field experience, specializing in rodent exclusion work in a variety of spaces • Possess Branch 2 Field Representative license • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and use CRM/mobile apps • Experience with hand tools, construction/maintenance, and job bidding • Skilled in problem-solving, training, and leading technicians Preferred Qualifications • Wildlife Trapping license • QAL License • Experience in developing new service programs, SOPs, and training staff General Requirements: • Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record • Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work on uneven terrain • Comfortable digging, kneeling, and navigating steep hillsides • Ability to stoop, kneel, crawl, bend and lay on stomach or back for periods of time • Able to speak, write and understand basic English (for safety, customer communication and reporting purposes) • Comfortable working in varied conditions including confined spaces, damp/dusty areas, hot or freezing environments • Must be capable of wearing a respirator and other PPE • Capable of regular use of a mobile phone for calls, texts, and software applications • Ability to drive on highways, bridges, side streets in a variety of road conditions for long periods of time • Reasonable accommodations will be made for qualified individuals with disabilities Compensation & Benefits: • Hourly rate $27-$32 per hour DOE • Potential for bonuses • Medical, dental and vision coverage options • Paid Time Off • Company paid life insurance • Uniforms, company vehicle, company iPhone provided • 401(k) with employer matching available after one-year • Respectful, team-oriented work culture How to Apply: Please visit: https://smithspestmanagement.com/careers/ Submit your resume and the following information: 1.
