Lead Climber at MTS Tree & Landscape NOW HIRING! Climber Position $35-$50/hr depending on experience. We are looking to immediately hire an experienced climber to join us at MTS Tree & Landscape. We operate throughout the eastside of Seattle and start each day at our yard based in Issaquah. A typical work day starts at 7:30 with some days requiring overtime, and the potential to work on the weekend as needed. Desired Qualifications or Skills Minimum 2 years climbing experience Familiar with proper ISA and industry standard pruning techniques ISA Certified Tree Worker or ISA Certified Arborist Familiar with operating chainsaws, hand tools, and chippers Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to prioritize and evaluate job site necessities Ability to communicate in a professional manner to the crew and clients Punctuality and good time management Maintaining a safe work environment and wearing all applicable PPE Has personal climbing equipment to get started immediately Experience operating bucket trucks, spider lift, mini skid steer, grapple truck Has a Class A or B CDL to drive the chip truck Bilingual (English and Spanish) Experience as crew lead or project manager on a tree crew Job Type: Full-time Salary: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour Benefits: Health insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Overtime Ability to commute/relocate: Issaquah, WA 98027: Reliably commute or planning to relocate ASAP (Required) Experience: Tree care: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: Multiple locations Work Location: Multiple Locations Sign on bonus paid after 90 days.
