Role Overview: As a member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the optimal performance of bakery equipment. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving equipment issues, collaborating with production teams to minimize downtime, and conducting preventive maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, including electrical and mechanical issues. Inspect, clean, and lubricate machines, replacing worn parts as needed. Perform repairs and replace defective components, including motors, bearings, gears, and sensors. Conduct routine maintenance on a variety of bakery equipment. Utilize welding, fabricating, or machining skills when necessary. Ensure adherence to safety protocols during all repair work. Qualifications: Strong mechanical aptitude and technical expertise. Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Solid understanding of basic electrical and mechanical theory. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when needed. Skilled in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Physical ability to lift and transport materials and heavy equipment, and work in confined spaces. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 4-5 years of experience is required. Compliance with all state laws, including being at least 18 years of age.
