If you enjoy creating great food and provide fantastic service, we want to hear from you! Your Role: Prepare and cook menu items from scratch, ensuring high quality and delicious flavors. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, keeping everything tidy and in accordance with health and safety standards. Work closely with fellow team members to ensure orders are filled quickly and efficiently. Assist in the restocking of supplies, making sure we have everything we need to serve our customers. Engage with customers in a friendly manner and handle any special requests with a positive attitude. Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for everyone. Requirements Previous cooking or kitchen experience is helpful, but we’re willing to train the right candidates! A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow within the kitchen. The Food Service Worker is responsible for serving food to patients while maintaining good composure. They are also responsible for following any dietary plans put forth for patients and making sure they are served the proper food. The Kitchen Team Member at a diner plays a vital role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently. They work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to prepare quality food, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and follow safety and hygiene guidelines. This position is essential for delivering a great dining experience for customers. Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring ingredients. Follow recipes and menu specifications to ensure consistency and quality. Assist with the setup and organization of the kitchen, including ensuring all ingredients and tools are available and in good condition. Cooking and Cooking Assistance: Cook or assist in cooking dishes according to diner menu specifications. Monitor food while cooking to ensure it’s cooked to the correct temperature and quality standards. Operate kitchen equipment, such as grills, fryers, ovens, and stovetops, following all safety procedures. Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including cleaning countertops, equipment, and dishes. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure food safety and compliance with local regulations. Dispose of food waste and follow proper waste management protocols.
