Responsibilities Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional electrical engineer Provide CAD support utilizing AutoCAD and Microstation for electrical system design for movable bridges and transportation structures Support the electrical department with design concepts and calculations for power distribution systems, industrial control systems, lighting, etc. Perform field inspections of electrical systems Write inspection reports to document system condition with repair recommendations Apply engineering principles to solve complex problems Requirements BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology Zero to two years of electrical engineering experience Knowledge and interest in industrial controls, power distribution, and lighting Experience with the electrical construction industry (residential, commercial building, lighting, etc.) (preferred) Hands-on experience (preferred) Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail Experience with CAD to develop engineering drawings, AutoCAD or Microstation (preferred) Benefits Salary range—  $72,000-$75,000 annually. The successful candidate Support all manufacturing engineering activities within assigned manufacturing cell(s) including implementing and facilitating lean manufacturing initiatives, implementing ECO’s, assigning inventory locations, conducting contract reviews, creating shop floor instructions, evaluating standards and completing capital and facility upgrades. Maintain current updates on manufacturing engineering related tasks on the manufacturing cell log. Assign default locators to all parts within assigned manufacturing cells. Create shop floor instructions and hot sheets and train the necessary personnel on those standards. Responsibilities Perform detailed review of all existing protection schemes present in the subject area to incorporate into new design. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in fast-paced, cross-disciplinary environments and is excited by the opportunity to develop compelling technology demonstrations that directly align with market needs.   This individual will work in the QRF group within our Emerging Technologies business unit and collaborate with Business Development (BD) teams to identify customer interests, develop end-to-end system performance analyses, and translate requirements into functional Rydberg RF system prototypes for customer application demos.
