Requirements To excel in this role, you should have: Licensure: Current dental hygienist license in Iowa. Physical Ability: Ability to perform tasks requiring hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and physical movement (standing, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 35 lbs). Experience: Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices, OSHA, HIPAA compliance, and infection control protocols. POSITION SUMMARY The primary role of the Patient Coordinator is to help the dental office stay on schedule, schedules new appointments, enters patient data for billing purposes, communicates with patients in an efficient and empathetic manner, and generally keeps the office stocked with necessary supplies.
