Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is looking for a full-time Patient Coordinator for our Wilmington-Barclay office! Schedule would be Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5pm and Fridays from 7:45am-2pm. POSITION SUMMARY The primary role of the Patient Coordinator is to help the dental office stay on schedule, schedules new appointments, enters patient data for billing purposes, communicates with patients in an efficient and empathetic manner, and generally keeps the office stocked with necessary supplies. KEY COMPETENCIES Welcoming/greeting patients with a welcoming, professional, and polished demeanor Checking-in patients to ensure they have all the necessary information in the patient management software Collecting co-payments Checking-out patients Closing out and ensuring that registers are balanced daily Ability to multi-task and skillfully manage priorities under pressure (ex: patients walking in, phones ringing, etc.) Scheduling patients Calling to confirm appointments Escalating issues to Office Manager Other duties and responsibilities as assigned To successfully perform the job responsibilities for the position of Patient Coordinator, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required but are not necessarily all inclusive. Requirements Must be present by 7:45 am as clinic opens at 8:00am. Must be reliable. Flexibility to be accessible before and after hours based on business need Passing of satisfactory credit check HS Diploma or higher Ability to work in fast paced work environment and under pressure Ability to balance registers Strong communication skills Must exhibit ethical conduct & confidentiality High attention to detail and accuracy Strong computer skills, Eaglesoft and/or Denticon knowledge is a plus Outstanding organization skills Ability to demonstrate independent thinking as well as a teamwork approach to job responsibilities.
