Putting some intention out into the universe … Singer/guitarist recently out of a string band, looking to start something new. Hoping to find a male & female singer/guitarist, and ideally a multi-instrumentalist (fiddle, mandolin, upright bass, etc.) ... though three singers/guitarists would be great too. Goal: a gigging acoustic duo/trio with tight harmonies, love for the songs, and *fun* along the way (so many bands forget to have fun). Really looking to build tight harmonies, which are in such short supply these days. Random Influences: Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, Gram & Emmylou, Townes, Mapache, Cactus Blossoms, Wilco, Phish, John Prine, Kurt Vile, Grateful Dead, Willie Nelson, Nick Drake, Bob Dylan, The Handsome Family, Iron & Wine, etc., etc. Based in Berwyn / Oak Park / Riverside. 420 friendly. Can host practice most evenings and weekends. Open to writing, rehearsing, and seeing where it goes. Not seeking jobbers, as I want our band to grow together.
