Don Edwards is a Louisiana wildlife artist. He is also a naturalist, conservationist, and photographer who has traveled all over the world. He is one of the most decorated wildlife artists in the south. In 1987, he was commissioned by the Red River Wetlands to print a commemorative painting to help preserve Bodcau and Loggy Bayou, the last remaining significant wetlands in Northwest Louisiana. This print is #108 of 500 of his titled work "100 Years Ago" from his Red River Wetlands work. It is also signed by the artist himself. I spoke with the artist himself regarding this piece and he relayed the above information about the commission of this painting, which can also be found on his website, and the value. The print is located in Kodak, TN. I am posting in Shreveport, because the artist is from the area. We are willing to ship to someone in Louisiana at the cost of the buyer. If you are interested, we are asking $250 for the framed print itself plus shipping. Please contact us to discuss further.
