Description

Looking for great pay? Perfect for college students! Seeking a qualified and compassionate home health caregiver to provide in-home care for a 39 y/o female with Muscular Dystrophy. She is a coffee obsessed Swiftie, who is relocating from her home in Monona to downtown Madison 2 blocks from the capitol building. Training for all services will be provided, no experience necessary.  Hours/Schedule: Currently seeking 12 hour shift support (7am-7pm or 7pm-7a) Friday, Saturday, Sunday with option for additional hours during the week. Willing to consider 6 hour shifts as well.  The responsibilities include (depending on the shift): Personal Cares Shower, hygiene and grooming assistance. Total assistance with dressing and undressing Toileting and related hygiene as needed Transfers/Positioning as needed Meal preparation and feeding, she also receives nutrition via G-Tube. Housekeeping related tasks. Take out into the community for activities, shopping, appointments, etc. Team Collaboration: Be an active team member in collaboration with other team members. Contribute positively and consistently with best practice expectations.  Qualifications: Licensure/Certification: None required Experience: Demonstrated knowledge and experience preferably in a home health setting. Skills: Excellent communication. Ability to write and correspond in a legible manner.  Background Check: Successfully pass the criminal background check and employment history verification.  Working Conditions: Ability to lift, bend, twist, reach, and stand on a continual basis to meet the needs of the individual receiving services.  Individual does currently have cats and dogs, may have a dog at her new home.  This is not with Vista Care Wisconsin, you will be an employee of the individual you are working with/for.
