Physical Demands and Work Environment: You'll thrive in a clean, well-lit, and well-ventilated medical facility. This role involves regular communication, use of hands and fingers, and occasional standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. You may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While the noise level is usually moderate, you may be exposed to some hazards such as bodily fluids that may contain disease. Requirements We're Looking For Someone Who Has: A Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from a four-year college/university, OR Two years of experience working within the mental health field or a residential treatment setting, OR Two years of experience working with children in an educational field. Comfort eating meals in a group setting and the ability to model positive eating habits. The ability to provide or obtain a San Diego County food handler's permit upon hire. The ability to provide or obtain CPR / BLS certification within 2 weeks of employment. At least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. The ability to safely transport patients as needed using a company vehicle, ensuring their well-being and compliance with all safety and transportation protocols.
