Qualifications: Education: AAS/BS in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred) Licensure: Current New York State RN license BCLS, Infection Control, and Child Abuse certifications Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (1+ year in Ambulatory/Med-Surg/ER preferred) Demonstrated telephone triage and diagnostic skills Technical Skills: Proficient in computer applications and electronic medical records Strong clinical assessment and medication knowledge Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities Ability to make critical decisions and prioritize effectively Empathetic and professional telephone communication Key Responsibilities: Provide and coordinate patient care in an ambulatory setting Conduct assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop care plans Evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust care as needed Perform telephone triage and provide patient education Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical protocols
