Description

The Event Manager is responsible for the overall execution of events and performances at the venue on the day of the show. This role includes managing shows and private events to ensure a seamless experience for performers, clients, and attendees. Responsibilities - Oversee execution of shows and private events the day of the show. - Serve as the primary day of show contact with planners and artists for seamless events. - Manage event timelines and ensure compliance with safety and building regulations. - Liaise with Head of Security, Bar manager, and Sound Engineer. - Communicate event timelines to staff and provide on-the-spot leadership. - Ensure high customer satisfaction and resolve day of show issues. - Manage Box Office to ensure accurate ticket counts and customer payments. - Responsive and proficient in Google Suite. (Forms, Sheets, Meet). Qualifications - Experience in event management, preferably in a music venue or live entertainment setting. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. - Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected challenges. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
