ShareShipwreck Cafe, is a family-friendly concept known for our great homemade food, large portions and for our genuine, friendly, and immediate service. We are seeking VERY EXPERIENCED short order cook, full time 40 hours per week. Cook Requirements Two year experience plus in a full-service restaurant preferred. Experience in cooking. Breakfast experience is a must, be able to keep work station clean and organized at all times. Experience in high-volume, fast-paced family or casual dining environment required. Must have Food Handlers Card Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work effectively within a team. Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive. Be able to work in a standing position with lots of movement around the BOH for extended periods of time and able to lift 40 lbs, bend, stoop, and reach. Must have great energy and the Ability to multi task. Ability to work under pressure during busy periods. Cook wages, start at $23, after line trained and knows the menu and your able to perform all kitchen functions, then advance to $25, must be a great performer, follow directions and get along with others, plus BOH cash shared tips daily, free daily meal, consistent days off, sick pay, spot bonus. Tips range is from $4 - $6 per hour.
