POSITION TITLE: Housekeeper REPORTS TO (TITLE): Director of Plant Operations DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: To maintain a clean and sanitary environment throughout the hospital. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Replenish restroom supplies and maintain records as directed. Cleans floors in-patient and non-patient areas. Removes trash and waste from designated areas of facility. Removes and replaces soiled linens from designated patient areas. Maintains facility and furnishings in clean, orderly fashion. Adheres to organization's safety, security policies and procedures. Maintains up-to-date records on supplies. Provides good customer service and represents facility in a positive manner. Participates in activities which enhance professional growth and development. Requirements POSITION Requirements: Knowledge and Experience: High School degree or equivalent preferred. Current NCI equivalent as approved by the Chief Nursing Officer (or obtained within the first 30 days of hire). Hospital experience preferred. Elementary reading, writing and math skills. Basic English usage. Knowledge of and skills in applying basic cleaning and housekeeping procedures and methods. Skills and Abilities: Maintains confidentiality of patients and staff at all times. About the Role The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately. Position Responsibilities Delivers completed cuisine to designated tables Supports wait staff by assisting them with delivery of food and retrieval of any supplies they may require Serves all customers according to established standards of quality Have knowledge of appropriate garnishes and sauces for each plate. Have full knowledge of table numbers, seat numbers and sections of the restaurant. Perform final quality check of all plates before delivery. Deliver all food items to the correct table in a timely manner. Know pivot points and seat numbers to deliver food without “auctioning” food. Night Managers (NM) are supervisors, coaches, and detailed (white glove) inspectors. Your first priority will be to ensure all scopes of work are executed in the buildings you are responsible for. you do this by meeting with crew supervisor (IC) and reviewing the scope, providing building"s specific details, communicating complaints and requests, confirming (with photos) that complaints and requests are resolved, managing crews who are completing nighttime projects like floor work, and completing administrative tasks like sending nightly inspection recaps and closing out tasks in the company software.
