Our Teaching Fellow program is a unique opportunity for students currently enrolled in a graduate program to obtain a New York State Teaching Certification. The Teaching Fellow will be paired with an experienced teacher, and receive professional development from academic coaches, while enhancing your teaching skills and building meaningful relationships with students and families. Establish and maintain high academic and behavioral standards, motivating all students to achieve their best. Utilize diverse teaching strategies, including direct instruction, hands-on projects, and group activities, to engage and challenge students. Supports the mental health and social service needs of residents.   Required Experience, Education, & Skills:  Experience in a residential care or assisted living setting, preferably with RCFE Activity Certification but not required. Strong understanding of federal, State, and local regulations governing residential care facilities for the elderly. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
