Seeking a female assistant (for a young female woman) who is between roughly 28-60 ish - this is to target what will work best with the client who is a 23 year old woman with autism. We need this special person to work with our loved one, now. Candidate must have WITHOUT EXCEPTION: 1 - Live within 5 miles of Culver City 2- Have CA drivers license in hand that is current 3- Have some kind of experience being around or working with a person who is not neurotypical - PATIENCE 4- Have your own car that is not needed by anyone else - you have control over it whenever you need it 5- Be detail oriented and able to follow instructions precisely 6- Be polite and presentable 6- Be able to pass a live scan down at Culver City PD (my expense) 7 - High school grad mandatory - AA or BA preferred 8- Have a resume with dates and locations of prior work history on it - with verfiable references ready to go. The job is part time and flexible - there will be remote things and sometimes in person things. For example, we have an immediate need as soon as possible to get the client to a doctor appointment in Culver City and then immediately same day over to the lab to do the blood work. She needs support for this. There could be a week with nothing and nother week with 2 appointments and a task needing done. If you can be flexible that is best. There will also be times where you take her to do something fun a couple of times per month. Client is verbal - just dropped out of college in junior year. The pay rate is $30 an hour plus gas when you have to drive. You must have proof of insurance on your vehicle. You need to be available M-F at some part of each day during business hours. It won't be every day, but when we need you we need to be able to get you for an hour or two on a business day and have you be available at some time during the business day. If you already work full time, this gig is not for you. We will need afternoon hours the majority of the time.
