Description

Role Description The Senior Level Technician must be able to troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC equipment in an efficient and professional manner. Candidates must be able to diagnose the causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components. Technicians must also be committed to safety in the use of all hand and power tools and must have solid interpersonal and customer service skills. The ideal candidate would have 10 plus years of verifiable HVAC industry experience. In addition, the successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Requirements Responsibilities: Responsible for servicing and maintaining various types of commercial HVAC/refrigeration equipment. Performs routine and preventive maintenance as needed for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functioning of HVAC systems. Uses a variety of hand tools, read wiring diagrams, piping schemes and/or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units. Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers. Responds to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns. Documents work by completing necessary paperwork on each job. Provides technical support to customers. Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required. Iosfttek Inc. is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Apopka, FL. This is a full-time, on-site position starting at $35/hr. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of industrial ammonia refrigeration experience in operating and troubleshooting, as well as 2 years of maintenance experience with air compressors and electrical systems (up to 460 V). Requirements High school diploma/GED equivalency. Minimum of 5 years of industrial ammonia refrigeration experience. Preferred 2 years of maintenance experience, including air compressors and electrical systems. Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics. Ability to recognize defective parts and distinguish machine sounds. Physical ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, work on elevated surfaces, and work in extreme temperatures and noise levels.
