The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, self-motivated professional who has worked as a Stainless-Steel Welder II or III (3+ years of experience requested). Depending on experience, candidates will be considered for a Level II or Level III position. Assemble standard and complex assemblies using process equipment as directed by engineering drawings and manufacturing routers Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • HS Diploma or equivalent • Entry-level test • Use of small hand tools such as air tools, wire cutter, needle nose pliers, ruler and wire strippers. • May use preparatory machinery such as soldering irons, scales, arbor presses, grinder and band saws. • Requires use of some inspection tools such as hi-pot testers and multi-meters. • Capable of lifting boxes of material or components to a weight of 50 pounds Experience is helpful but not required. Participants may earn up to $325 or $575 for completion of an interview (approximately 3 hrs.) and study visit, depending on the study for which you are qualified. Some study visits may require an overnight stay (approximately 24 hours) at University Hospital in Downtown Indianapolis, while others only require participation for a 6½ hour visit during normal business hours.
