Schedule: Sundays 12–3 PM & Wednesdays 12–3 PM (6 hrs/week) Location: McCall House, 153 Oak St, Ashland, OR 97520 About the role You’re the organized pro who gets everything ready so service runs smooth—fast, consistent, and tidy. What you’ll do Batch prep for the week: bake off bacon, mix scone & puff doughs, roast vegetables, and prep sandwich fillings. Small-batch items: lemon curd/aioli/vinaigrette, granola, cookies (scoop/freeze; bake a tray). Label/date (FIFO), cool safely, sanitize, and keep the station dialed. Must have Reliable. No call-outs. You can work both shifts every week. Prep/baking experience (follow & scale by weight; work clean and organized). Food Handler’s Card (or get within 30 days). Can lift 30 lb and stand up to 3 hours; safe knife/oven habits. Nice to have Pastry basics (laminating/rolling), freezer prep, portion control. Every team member is expected to do any kitchen duty that may be required at any time. That includes washing dishes. Everyone who works in our kitchen does dishes. This position is Part-Time (~28-30 hours/week), yet it has the potential to develop into a full-time job for the right candidate. The initial shifts will be Tuesday from 3PM - 11:30PM, and then Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5PM - 12:30AM.
